Grolsch Pop Art Charity Event 2004 Thank you for supporting the Grolsch Pop Art benefiting the National Prostate Cancer Coalition where celebrity art and charity fundraising come together. In 2004, Grolsch Premium Lager and the National Prostate Cancer Coalition and some celebrity friends teamed up for an exciting auction of unique Pop Art. Classic Grolsch Swingtop bottles were designed, hand-painted and signed to create one-of-a-kind Pop Art sensations. The auctions were managed by Gotham City Online. Over the generations the Grolsch flip-top bottle has become a cultural icon. A number of these classic (empty) bottles were decorated by celebrities for this Pop Art charity fundraiser. 2. How were the bottles decorated? All the bottles were designed, hand-painted and signed by celebrities. Each bottles is unique and the only one of its kind.
