In 2004, Grolsch Premium Lager and the National Prostate Cancer Coalition and some celebrity friends teamed up for an exciting auction of unique Pop Art. Classic Grolsch Swingtop bottles were designed, hand-painted and signed to create one-of-a-kind Pop Art sensations. The auctions were managed by Gotham City Online. Over the generations the Grolsch flip-top bottle has become a cultural icon. A number of these classic (empty) bottles were decorated by celebrities for this Pop Art charity fundraiser. 2. How were the bottles decorated? All the bottles were designed, hand-painted and signed by celebrities. Each bottles is unique and the only one of its kind.
