Supporting a good cause has never looked better. Gotham City Online shoppers have helped raise over $1,300,000 for charity since 1999 and that's not just shoes. In fact, we regularly manage high-profile online fundraisers (some highlights are below).

Interested in our fundraising help? Let us know what you have in mind.

We salute the men and women in our community who dedicate their lives to public service. Our Charity of the Month program celebrates the wonderful contributions these organizations make to those less fortunate. Thank you for supporting our efforts.

Dress for Success - November, 2019
Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to more than 80 cities in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands and the U.K. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work. The Dress for Success Professional Women's Group program then provides ongoing support to help the client build a successful career. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 300,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.
Pepperface held the Prevention Purple Celebrity Auction in October 2006 to support the National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence. With the help of Gotham City Online, Crystal Icing and select celebrities, like Kelly Ripa, Jason Lee, Haylie Duff and Nadine Velazquez, the signature Pepperface.com Edition Palm Defenders were transformed into Swarovski Crystal-bejeweled accessories and sold at online auction.

When the show that helped define fashion wrapped its extraordinary six-year run on HBO, viewers who saw themselves drawn to the styles of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda or Samantha found something to obsess over - select clothes worn by the stars of the show. And if clothes are not on some fans must-have list, signed scripts and posters (sample to right) were also auctioned off. Proceeds from the auction were given to four charities chosen by the female stars of the show. (Excerpts from HBO press release.)

More about the fundraiser.

Grolsch Premium Lager and the National Prostate Cancer Coalition and some celebrity friends teamed up for an exciting auction of unique Pop Art. Classic Grolsch Swingtop bottles were designed, hand-painted and signed to create one-of-a-kind Pop Art sensations.

Swarovski teamed up with a several celebrities, including Rebecca Budig, Sharon Stone, Ashley Judd and Mariah Carey (to name a few) for the "Celebrity Heartthrobs Crystallize Denim" benefit. Each celebrity designed a unique denim jacket decorated with stunning Swarovksi crystals.

The jackets were sold with proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association's "Women With Heart" research fund, which focuses on heart disease and stroke among women.

Netscape launched their new Internet Service in 2004 with a charity auction to benefit City Year. 200 popular email addresses were auctioned off to celebrate the new service.

City Year unites young people ages 17 to 24 from diverse economic, racial, and geographical backgrounds for a year of full-time service to their communities.

We encourage you to visit the sites of these excellent funds and organizations. Gotham City Online provides voluntary donations of money, goods and/or services to many of these organizations.
